Tim can best be described as cerebral, wise and modest, but we enjoy having him on board best because he can make the most complicated architectural projects make sense to anyone.
Tim has led a diverse life that’s included running his own architectural firm, with a partner (Natale and Scott Architects), living in the remote reaches of Ellesmere Island and going on nine-month bicycle trips. He and his business partner of 27 years joined FORREC in 2013 to create FORREC Architects Ltd. His firm was responsible for a wide range of residential, commercial, recreational, institutional and planning projects across Ontario and Quebec. Tim brings this wealth of experience to managing the work of 30 architects, setting priorities, steering designs in the right direction and managing resources. He’s particularly motivated by finding new, diverse architectural talent for the studio and nurturing the company leaders of tomorrow. Tim also maintains an active role at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture where he is an adjunct professor teaching the fourth year comprehensive design studio.
