The challenge was to realize the client’s vision for an international resort set amid an arid desert valley on the coast of Oman. Forrec designers employed traditional Omani architecture motifs to create several unique vacation environments, each specifically designed to fit its location on the 240-hectare site. This includes a golf & country club, complete with an 18-hole (tournament quality) golf course, a five-star marina hotel with adjoining souk and a stunning boutique spa hotel perched atop a rocky overlook.
