OUR PROCESS
Although every project is unique, all are required by the design process to pass a number of milestones common to our industry. Forrec has long been a
leader in adapting this standard process to a client's individual needs. Typically, these milestones include:
The Programme, which determines the specific size and mix of attractions, facilities, design features,
food, retail and entertainment venues needed to meet the capacity criteria of the project. Typically, the programme is accompanied
by a Project Analysis that identifies precise attendance goals and future expansion possibilities based on these goals.
A Master Plan to establish the most effective relationship among the key elements
of the programme: buildings, services, facilities and features.
In Concept Development, a proposed theme or concept for the project is applied to the Master Plan. This identifies the precise balance the design must achieve
between the creativity needed to create a memorable guest experience and the cost efficiency required to ensure a project's financial viability.
During the Detailed Design phase,
attention focuses on those elements of the design that build or reinforce the creative theme, such as facades, interiors, landscape treatments, special props, street furnishing and signage.
Finally, Construction Drawing and Documents including
fully-detailed and coordinated building sets, are generated by our specialists as an extension of the design process.
By ensuring that technical specifications, aesthetic criteria and project budgets are met,
Forrec's On-Site Review & Art Direction consistently saves our clients' precious time and money. |
